Jump-Start Package
Data Innovations' jump-start package establishes the processes to support an enterprise level backup and recovery practice. The following sections identify the components of the package:

Requirements:
The jump-start package will require the following:

  • A minimum purchase one CA ARCserve® Backup File Server Suite license.
  • An optional purchase of one or more of the CA ARCserve® Backup Suite licenses, such as CA ARCserve® Backup Application Server Suite, CA ARCserve® Backup Email Server Suite, CA ARCserve® Backup Database Server Suite.
  • A minimum of 80 hours of consulting services with increments of 40 hours for each optional CA ARCserve® Backup Server Suite purchased.

These requirements allow Data Innovations to provide discounts for both software licenses and professional services.

Product Installation:
The CA ARCserve® Backup File Server Suite and any other CA ARCserve® Backup Server Suites purchased will need to be installed. The following bullets identify the components of this service:

  • A custom installation plan for CA ARCserve® Backup File Server Suite and any other CA ARCserve® Backup Server Suites is created.
  • Perform the product installations and create detailed installation procedures.
  • Install the license files.
  • Perform post-installation tasks.
  • Integration with other CA products.

Establish Best Practices:
Once the environment is established, best practices are defined to ensure proper utilization and to enforce the change management policy. The following bullets identify the components of this service:
